I don't know why I thought I could handle updating TWO blogs when I have a hard enough time doing just one!
I caught up to River's birth on this blog so I am going to post all future blogs on the archergoddessbaby2 blog.
Thanks for reading!

March '08
Soleil decided to give herself a tattoo "just like Daddy". She wasn't sure how he would react when I told her to go show him. Am I in trouble?? is the look on the first pic. Then the second one she thought she was pretty cool stuff since Daddy liked it. The fact that the chair that she was sitting in that got pink marker on it (as you can see below in the singing pic) didn't make Mommy too happy though.
Soleil has had a little toy that play drum beats for quite a while. Well in March she was all about making up songs and singing them into the fake microphone. Her favorite was "I am a mermaid. I live in the water". She liked to put on the princess hat to sing that one. I got it on video too!
Since we were feeling guilty about having another child, we bought Soleil a play fort for the back yard. Robbie and Damon put it together. It has a slide, swings, rock climbing wall, etc. You can see her having fun on it in some of the pics.

Feb '08 pics
Apparently for February all I can really tell is that we took Sol to the Dallas Zoo for the first time and that I was extremely pregnant. Oh yeah... I was extremely pregnant AND we all had the flu and mine turned in to pneumonia. No wonder I don't remember many fun times that month. Oh well, just enjoy the pictures!
Jan '08 pics
Looking back at the pictures to see what happened in January, I came across some pictures of us at the local park. Soleil got a dump truck from Paw-Paw for Christmas. We decided to take it over to the park to play with it in the sand. Well we got bored with that pretty quickly so Mommy and Daddy decided to have some fun with it. Robbie would send it down the slide and it would fly off. So I decided to see if I could get some pics of it in mid air to show Paw-Paw how much fun we were having with his purchase! Here are the results!

December 07
December sure was a busy month. We were supposed to go out to eat to celebrate my birthday but Soleil got sick. We woke up to a screaming girl with throw-up all over the bed. Happy Birthday to me! It was only the 2nd time in her life that she has thrown up!
I got a sewing machine for my birthday. I have wanted one for a while. It is still in the box since I haven't had time to pull it out, nor do I have anywhere to put it at the moment. Robbie is now working from home and we did a little room makeover in the front bedroom. Robbie painted the walls a nice warm brown...SO much better than the orange that we had originally painted it. He now has a desk in there. We are planning on selling the futon and I hope to get some sort of table or desk to put my sewing machine in there too. It is actually nice having him work from home because on his breaks he is able to help out around the house and it is VERY much appreciated!
We celebrated Sol's 2nd birthday with a party at home for her. We invited her daycare friends and some of our friends too. She loved having the kids over since we hardly ever have children at the house. She showed off her bedroom and of her toys and was remarkably good at sharing. She was also elated that Leslie came to her house too! We borrowed a friend's bounce house but it was so cold that day the kids lasted about 5 minutes before they were ready to head back in to the house. Daddy made her a "Maisy" cake.
Once she learned about opening presents she wanted to open all the presents under the Christmas tree. We let her open her ornament Christmas Eve and I think a couple of gifts from friends. On Christmas morning she woke up and was surprised to see a train under the tree. Santa Claus must have set it up overnight. When it turned on it went around the tree on the track and made noise and blew smoke. She loved it! We started opening presents and she soon grew tired of us handing her present after present since she wanted to REALLY open up each toy and play with it. We think Santa went a little overboard! We decided to leave a few presents under the tree to open the next week since Sol and I were off Christmas afternoon to visit Robbie's parents in Alabama.
We stayed from Christmas day to New Year's Day with Nana and PawPaw. Soleil enjoyed their company...she ran up to Nana in the airport to give her a big hug! She got even MORE Christmas presents out there and enjoyed relaxing...as you can see from the pics. Karo (their dog) was her best bud and was such a good sport about letting her try out her new medical kit! She also enjoyed going up to their store. She felt like she owned the place. PawPaw would always get her some "Icy-juice" in a big tall cup and she would walk around and point to things and magically they became hers. I have not had her in a convenient store since...I am worried she will run around grabbing things off the shelves!
November 07
In November we took a family camping trip to Glenrose, TX. We stayed overnight at the Dinosaur Valley State Park. We were able to see actual dinosaur tracks that were formed in the stone....pretty cool! They had some life-size dinosaur creations that freaked Sol out a bit. We took our bikes and biked around, hiked around, and even waded in the river. We also got to visit Fossil Rim Wildlife park. Soleil liked that she could sit on Daddy's lap and help "drive" the car. She didn't want to return to the backseat after that!
We spent Thanksgiving in Boston and Rehoboth, MA with my family. It was the first time in years that the whole family was together. Soleil loved having so many people around and quickly became Delaney's shadow. She would disappear without looking back for an hour! She really took on her independence from Mommy and Daddy on that trip! I was nice seeing everyone. Enjoy the pics!
