Well it has been an exciting month! Soleil is such a different baby. She is almost always in a good mood. She coos and caws all the time and is becoming so interested in her environment. The cats and dogs and being outdoors interest her. Robbie hung a swing in a tree in our front yard. She laughs when I push her and grab her feet. We bought a bike trailer for her to ride in behind the bike. She is not so sure of that yet, probably b/c she is not close to us when she is riding.She tries to grab everything around her and then put it directly into her mouth. She sleeps 9-10 hours straight at night and we usually have to wake her up in the morning to eat and get ready to go to Leslie's house. Leslie has nicknamed her "Angel" b/c she is always so happy. She likes to bounce in her bouncer and turn herself around. When she starts to fuss she likes to find one of her thumbs (she doesn't really prefer one over the other, although at first it was always the left, I think that arm is longer!). She can't directly aim them into her mouth yet, she usually gets them on a "drive-by" and doesn't know how to bend back the other fingers yet so they usually go into her eyes or hang out like a hook on her nose. She likes her massages after her baths and usually talks up a storm while I rub apricot oil into her skin. She is such a fun baby.
